From Left-Right: The Mission Executive Management Committee, Chair, Mr. Humphreys; Madam Jennifer  Alando, Deputy Head Teacher, Shimo-La-Tewa Primary School, Mombasa ( Immediate former School for Carolyne Nafula); Carolyne Nafula (In Uniform); Madam May Nyaki, English Teacher to Nafula; and Mr. Armstrong, Co-Founder, The Mission, and Trustee, Aid Kenya Foundation's Pwani Education Trust

Hi!

I am contacting you with a view of seeking your help to educate Carolyne Nafula, a vulnerable girl in Mombasa, Kenya, who has been under our support at the Mission For Orphaned Children (The Mission), an orphanage founded and run by Aid Kenya Foundation, a humanitarian aid and development assistance charity in Kenya.

Nafula wishes to be a doctor once she grows up and she is the first girl from her village to join secondary school as most girls drop out due to poverty, and negative influence of the society like truancy, prostitution and teenage motherhood. Nafula scored 346/500 marks from the Shimo-La-Tewa Primary School, Mombasa, emerging as the top girl in the school against all odds!!

Below, please find her request which I have also posted on our new facebook page's timeline.

God bless you!

Armstrong Ongera II, Co-Founder, The Mission
